About Sowing Sneinton
Sowing Sneinton was formed by residents Suzannah Bedford and Donya Coward in May 2010.

Noticing the neglected spaces, flowerbeds and public spaces on the main roads into their neighbourhood they decided to act, rather than just wish someone to do something.

The pair decided against secret 'guerrilla gardening' and contacted the city council, who gave them their blessing, labour and funds to buy tools and plants.

In 2020 Kathryn Cooper, Michelle Chisholm and Selene Hinton took up the mantle of Sowing Sneinton and continue the good work today.
